Vintage Persian Bakhtiari tribal rug with a fine patterned geometric mille fleur garden design on a cherry red ground. The striking array of flower motifs subtly twinkle in tones of forest green, sky blue, maroon, lemon yellow, salmon pink, steel blue, tan, and cream.

Age: 1940-1950
Origin: Chaharmahal Province, Western Persia.
Materials: Hand knotted wool pile on a cotton foundation.
